Nature Play

As parents and early childhood instructors, providing an enriching educational experience for young ones is essential. In our Teaching Tuesday series, NWPS instructors Caroline and Elizabeth will explore different topics surrounding nature-based education.

NWPS instructor Elizabeth begins the series as she explains the benefits of nature play for early childhood and how to foster it as an adult. Elizabeth explains what a risk assessment is, how to scaffold, and how to model nature play for young children.
